ABOUT US

The  USSTTC is a US registered non-profit corporation (IRS 501c3) comprised of retired members of the U.S. Armed Forces, community leaders, academics, corporate executives, civic leaders, partners and sponsors, and veterans’ families commissioning to naming a U.S. Navy Warship after Medal of Honor Recipient Telesforo Trinidad.

OUR MISSION

Work with partners, stakeholders and communities to facilitate the successful execution of the major ship building milestones of USS Telesforo Trinidad (DDG 139), highlight the selfless service of Fireman Second Class Trinidad and the distinguished service of Filipinos/Americans in the United States Navy.

OUR GOALS

Build partnerships and raise funds to support major shipbuilding milestones and raise awareness of the historic significance of a warship named after Fireman Second Class Trinidad.

VOLUNTEER

The USSTTCC organization is always looking for talented people with highly specialized skillsets and certain areas of expertise to join our team. Specifically, we are actively seeking volunteers who have recent work experience in the following areas: ship commissioning ceremonies, marketing, social media, fund raising and corporate sponsorship.

The numerous activities involving the commissioning of a United States Navy ship is quite a costly endeavor. In this light, one of the USSTTC's organization's major focus is to seek significant corporate and private sponsors to assist in all of the financial requirements to properly welcome the United States Ship Telesforo Trinidad (DDG-139) to the Fleet.
